Dr. Shahiuz Ahmed did Master of Arts in History from Gauhati University in 2000. He did Post Graduate Diploma in Peace and Conflict Resolution from Gauhati University in 2006. He pursued M.Phil. from North Bengal University in 2002 and Ph.D. from Tilak Maharashtra University in 2007. He completed Sixth Winter Course on Forced
Migration organized by the Mahanirban Calcutta Research Group and supported by
The Government of Finland, The Brookings Institution and the UNHCR (1st September to 15th December 2008). His area of interests are Peace and Conflict Studies and Indo-Bangladesh Migration Issues.
